First visit of day three and we were wowed. Perched just above Latour, with a magnificently renovated chai and superb facilities, this property is another top performer. They explained that enhanced understanding of vineyard and vinification techniques has ramped everything up a further notch, which is certainly on display. Wonderful texture and shape, fabulous proportions on show; lovely dark fruit, then harmonious and distinguished on the palate. Smooth, power in the back palate and a very fine finish. A great wine, again reminiscent of 2005. 5-15+ years.
