A very complete wine this year. The plots next to the church in central Pomerol did very well, and you can feel the plushness coming through of great Merlot. There?s plenty of black fruit on the nose, then a super smooth, fleshy feel on the palate, some chalky tannins propping it up but all in balance. Good weight, the oak very integrated and this should keep a bit. Delicious and affordable for this quality in Pomerol. 5-15 years.
