Crafted by the Brajkovich family in vineyards just to the west of Auckland in New Zealand, they have become internationally recognised as one of the great Chardonnay producers outside of Burgundy. Sourced from six vineyards around Auckland, fermented in barrel with indigenous yeasts, and matured in oak for 11 months before bottling. Great purity and freshness, with a certain delicacy, and a persistent perfume of sweet and succulent apple fruit and blossom. Nicely weighted and rich, showing some classic flint, this has precision too, a lively citrussy edge and long mealy flavours. Drink 3-9 years.
