2021 is just the second year where Garnacha has been part of the blend, still only around 5% but it is something that will feature more, and probably in greater percentages. 12-15 months in French oak, and 18 months in bottle before release, this is a wine that allows the fruit to show through – dark flowers, deep, ripe blue/black fruits, framed by graphite and a pleasing mineral grip rather than tannic bite. Eminently drinkable and superbly balanced, this will give great pleasure over the coming 10-15 years.
