Pintia (by Vega Sicilia), Toro 2020 En Primeur - Case of 6

The 2020 Pintia demonstrates the attention to detail of Vega Sicilia, where the power of the vintage needed to be respected to produce a viable wine. A pre harvest heatwave meant they had to pick quickly and as per recent releases, the aim was to manage a softer vinification with less oak and lower levels of toasting, and they employed clay amphorae too. This is notably concentrated, the tannins are ripe and plump, and the fruit is bold - dark and rich with a touch of bitter dark chocolate, earth, and dried herbs. Impressive on all fronts.

Prices are clearly marked in our sales literature and are exclusive of duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT. Shipment of claret and Port normally takes place around 30 months after the vintage, burgundy and Rhône usually more quickly. A second invoice for the duty, shipping, marine insurance and VAT on the value of the wine is charged at the time of shipment - view current duty rates. There are no further charges for deliveries to a UK mainland home or work address.
