With fruit, style and elegance, this champagne is produced for Tanners by a highly reputed champagne house, a group of small growers, each carefully tending small vineyards above Epernay in the heart of the Champagne region.

This Merlot-driven house Claret has all the brambly fruit and adaptability of a classic Bordeaux. Full of hedgerow fruit and plums, this is sumptuous and highly drinkable.

In classic white burgundian style, this wine has an abundance of ripe apricot and stone fruit. A vibrancy of apple characteristics on the palate, partnered with subtle oak, resulting in a crisp, approachable Chardonnay.

In terms of a great value winter warmer, Tanners Rhône Red is a standout with its shimmering festive ruby-like colour to the aromas of cherries, redcurrants and spice. The 2021 Tanners Rhône Valley Red is a typical Côtes du Rhône blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre expressly made for Tanners by Gonnet Père et Fils at Domaine Font de Michelle in Châteauneuf- du-Pape. Pretty nose of red summer fruits with some plump, creamy blue fruit notes. Medium-bodied, round and juicy with good volume and supple tannins, offering long flavours of peppery spices over crisp red fruit. Very enjoyable drinking.

A superb, fresh, grassy Sauvignon with good fruit and crisp acidity which bears testament to the dramatic improvements in modern French winemaking, and in particular the famous François Lurton who now makes wine worldwide.

The vineyard source for this wine is a closely guarded secret, but suffice to say it has a very fine pedigree! Full, rich and complex, it has honeyed flavours and good freshness to maintain balance.
