EXPRESS UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

£5 on orders of £150 or more to a single address in mainland UK.

For orders under £150 please add £14.95 per delivery address.

Usually delivered the next working day (on orders placed before 1pm on a
working day).

Please note, whilst the majority of parcels sent on this service are
received the next working day, this is not guaranteed and excludes the Scottish
Highlands.

SATURDAY UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

Saturday Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £25. Orders must be received
by 1pm Friday.

Our couriers can deliver to most geographically remote locations but do bear in mind that these do incur a higher delivery charge and will take longer to arrive.

Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland ‒ first case (up to 12 x 75cl) is charged at a flat rate of £25 then £10 per subsequent case.

Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and Scottish Offshore Islands ‒ first case (up to 12 x 75cl) is charged at a flat rate of £30 then £10 per subsequent case.

The English Distillery

At a time when world-class Whisky made in England was unthinkable, our father & son founders took a chance and kickstarted a category. From dream to dram, every aspect of The English is born of their vision. No investors, no interference. Just exceptional spirits, made for sharing, that keep getting better.

When our founders built the distillery, they chose a spot directly above a source of sweet, mineral-rich water, the same water that’s made our whisky every day since 2006. Without our corner of Norfolk, our whisky wouldn’t be the same. Our roots are as deeply embedded in the Norfolk soil (right below the bedrock, in fact) as they can be, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Winning ‘The World’s Best Single Malt Whisky’ in the World Whiskies Awards 2024 shows that doing things the right way makes a difference. The English Sherry Cask beat off stiff competition from some of the most renowned distilleries in the world, propelling our rural distillery into the limelight and proving that English whisky can hold its own on a global stage.

The distillery has a unique place in history. In 1901 the last recorded whisky distillery in England swapped from whisky to gin production before being destroyed by fire. This saw the end of whisky making in England until The English Distillery was granted a license to distil whisky by HMRC. In 2006 it became the first registered, operational whisky distillery in England for over 100 years.
