Dolcetto

One of the three main grape varieties in Piemonte, North-West Italy. Stylistically this variety normally makes wines that are soft, round and fruity, due to the natural low acidity of this grape. Flavours of liquorice and almonds can be found in the best examples. Usually makes an early drinking style of wine.
