Petite Arvine

Petite Arvine is the leader amongst a bunch of relatively rare Swiss grapes which also include Humagne Blanche, Amigne and Humagne Rouge, also known as Cornalin d’Aoste. These grape varieties have been preserved on the side slopes of the Alpine Valais region, which is the upper valley of the Rhône before it runs into Lake Geneva. Petite Arvine has thick skins, producing wines which are rich in flavour and have a distinctive lemon and grapefruit character.
