A property that has been on a bit of a roll, the terroir here is Premier Grand Cru Classe status and in hotter vintages it works extremely well. While there is less Cab Franc than some neighbours, the Merlot is ripe and full-on with lovely rich aromatics, almost violet and blossom behind damson and raspberry which unfold on the palate. A blend of sweet fruit and firm texture, some chalkiness on the finish. It is very successful this year. 5-15 years.
