Domaine Bruno Sorg Pinot Gris, Alsace 2022

One of my lockdown discoveries and now a regular purchase, you would never know this is the same grape as Pinot Grigio. This is a full, dry white wine from Alsace with a nose of orchard and stone fruit. It also has minerality which makes it an easy-drinking wine on its own but would go well with charcuterie and creamy cheeses. Phil Taylor
Rich, full wine with typical Pinot Gris fatness and spice but it also has the acidity on the finish to give balance. François Sorg is achieving excellent balance to go with the richness his wines have always had.
