Chilton Liqueurs
The Chilton Liqueur project was started in Shropshire back in the 1970s. It was subsequently taken up by Richard Strachan and is today run by his niece Fiona Rogers-Coltman. They take the native Shropshire prune, a type of damson, from around their farm near Bishop's Castle in South Shropshire and steep it for 8 months in Greenall's Finest Gin.
