French Favourites - Mixed Half Dozen

This is a superb example of just how good Muscadet can be. This wine is perfectly balanced, full of zesty white fruit and a minerality I love. It’s crisp, clean and dry. I’m a big Chablis lover, and this is very similar in style. Produced by the Bonnet brothers, this is part of the new wave of quality Muscadet production. Made using organic and biodynamic methods means this is just very good wine making. It’s a very precise wine, but there is plenty of weight from the 6 months spent on lees. This wine is quite versatile with regards to food matching, but the perfect match would be fish, particularly shellfish. Howard Hutchins

Fantastic, vivacious Muscadet, full of zesty white fruit character, some minerality, plenty of weight from six months on lees (sur lie) and organically produced.

Ripe, juicy white with honeyed fruit, good weight and an attractive streak of fresh, lemony acidity. Alsace Pinot Gris is very different to that produced elsewhere, having more weight and flavour.

Sourced from a family domaine in the Gers, this juicy, racy rosé has been a fantastic success since release. Vibrant summer fruits nose and a soft strawberry flavour mean one bottle isn't enough!

Pretty nose of red summer fruits with some plump, creamy blue fruit notes. Medium-bodied, round and juicy with good volume and supple tannins, offering long flavours of peppery spices over crisp red fruit. Very enjoyable drinking

A fresh, pale rosé with floral aromas and plenty of soft fruit such as plums, blackberries and white peaches on the palate. Perfect summer drinking.
